Renting a car through Disney vacations

Can u rent a car through Disney vacations or do u just call Alamo or book online

I always book online.

I book online and pick up/drop off at the Dolphin. We then take ME to/from airport. It is usually much cheaper this way and easy to do.

Yea If u booked for the Disney car care center, Alamo, will come in pick u up & drop u off at your disney hotel

I book online and pick up/drop off at the Dolphin. We then take ME to/from airport. It is usually much cheaper this way and easy to do.

We do something similar, but if we're staying at SSR we pick up/drop off at the Buena Vista Palace, and easy walk, right across from SSR. DH loves this arrangement. No stress about driving from/to the airport, but the convenience of having a car while on-property. We've been able to find really great rates with Alamo.

I know..that is what I like about it. And, this summer, it cost me $400 less to get a minivan from the Dolphin vs. the airport. Now, yes, we pick it up on day 2 and drop it off the day before we leave, but don't need it those days anyway so it is great.

I didn't realize there was something near SSR--will keep that in mind if we ever stay there!

Yes, we take ME to/from the resort--really nice. The past few years we have been at BWV or BCV so getting to the Dolphin was a quick walk. We do a split stay so when we dropped it off, we ended up heading over to Epcot, walking around for a bit, and then headed back to BLT where we were staying for the end of the trip.

We pick up Day 2 and drop off the day before we leave. It works great since we really want the car for the day we switch resorts, to visit AK, and to go to DTD.

I have heard that the Car Care Center will pick you up but have not used them. I believe that you can rent from both ALamo and National this way.

There is a National Car Rental desk at the Doubletree Hotel on International Drive. We used them once and they did pick us up at the resort (OKW). We have found Alamo to be less expensive. They have locations at the Dolphin, Buena Vista Palace and the Car Care Center. I think National may also be at those locations, too.
