Hello,

I imagine many of the posts are redundant and I apologize.

We are doing DL on a big budget (to say the least). Our hotel is paid for as is half of our plane fare.

Therefore, we wouldn't be going unless these conditions were in place!

So I would like to know, can you get away without renting a car? We will be there from 3/21-3/25. That's it.

I belong to AAA, is there any discounts there or is the park price always the same? Do I need a passport to prove my daughter is not yet three?

Any other tips would help (especially money saver tips).

Best restaurants for the kids?

If all you are planning to do is visit the Disneyland Resort then a car is not necessary, as long as you are staying at a hotel that offers transportaion or that is withing walking distance.

AAA is offering tickets (not sure if they are cheaper or not ) that offers some great "perks." Unlimited FP, one free breakfast in the park, $10 credit at ESPN ZONE and if you do rent a car free parking in the Mickey and Friends parking lot.

You should not need to prove your DD is under 3. But you may want to bring her passport "just in case."

The best restaurant for kids, I have to say is Goofy's Kitchen. It is a character buffet and is tons of fun.

My local AAA office sells the 3-day hopper for a little less than the Disney Club price. However - I asked about the Passport Plus that gives you 2 extra hopper days, etc...and the agent I talked with had NO clue. I believe the price is $122.75, and Walt Disney Travel Co. has a shipping/handling fee of ~ $13 per order -
