Renting a car for the day

Is it possible to rent a car for the day anywhere on Disney property? We are staying at POR and we want to go to Seaworld for the day. Is there anywhere to rent one on Disney property?

National and Alamo have rental facilities at the Car Care Center near the Magic Kingdom and at the Dolphin resort.

I do this a lot. If possible always make the reservation ahead of time as the rate is almost always better. Then you just call to arrange shuttle pick up and then they return you back to the hotel when you return the car. They also have a really good local map to help you with finding your way around.

Hi, thx to the OP for this question - I was looking for this info as well.

We'll be staying at BWV so we could just walk over to the Dolphin - is it National and Alamo also at the Dolphin or is that just at the CCC?

It is Alamo/National at the Dolphin.

I agree with the previous poster, reserve ahead to get the best price. Also they are open 8-4, so plan accordingly.

If you just want to rent it for the day and want to turn it in after hours , the valet will check it in for you. They just give you a slip. I always feel uncomfortable doing this, but never has there been a problem.
