We rented points from an owner for a trip 1/3-1/9 of 2010. We're not using ME. Will we get a packet or anything in the mail regarding our rezzie or will it go to the owner? It was booked and paid for months ago and I see the rez. on the dvc site.

Anybody?

A one page confirmation letter is mailed to the owner. The owner I am renting some points from e-mailed me a copy within a few weeks of making the reservation and then mailed me the original as well - it takes at least a few weeks to get the letter from DVC normally. I would ask your owner to send it to you.

Generally there isn't a packet just a DVC confirmation. I make a copy for myself and mail the original to the person renting the points.

You will receive a rather thick packet of information at checkin, including information on perks that you won't be eligible for. But you'll enjoy all of the regular perks of staying onsite: free theme park parking, EMH, DME, etc.

We usually receive a series of promotional emails shortly before we go. You might ask the owner you rented from to forward those to you.

Have a great trip!

For the Magical Express stuff, the owner can have that sent directly to you.

Thanks everyone. We got the confirmation sheet from owner months ago and we see it on the website with our con. #.

Very excited! Anyone see any issues with us renters trying online check-in?

How are you able to log onto the member's website and see the reservation?

You can see it on Disney's site, not the DVC member site. I don't have a direct link though. Something like ... \mydisneyreservation\dvc -- but I don't know the full address of the beginning.

I suspect this is a redirector to something on go.com.

(Buying Pixar? Genius. Buying Marvel? Probably a good idea. Buying go.com? Still one of the dumbest things the company has *ever* done.)
