Rented points but need something changed....

I have rented points for our stay here in a couple of weeks. I planned this before we bought(kind of the main reason we bought, I like to have control of everything). Anyways, I was having my parents come down the second week we are there. I have a room for them and they are on the DDP, but my Dad has a big meeting that can't be missed. I am having trouble contacting the person I rented from. Do I HAVE to cancel him off of the ressie or if my mom is the only one to check in will she still have to pay for the DDP for him or since he isn't there will they just let it go? I know they have the 3 day cancel policy but since he isn't there will that still be the case?

I had this happen and it was a hassle, but I was able to get the extra person taken off my bill for DDP at the check in desk. Strangely, they couldn't take away that person's credits, they just didn't charge me for them. I didn't use the extra credits because I didn't pay for them. (I felt good about that)

Was this lately? Since they have the 3 day policy? I just don't want my Mom to have the hassle, you know?

You'll need to have the member you rented from cancel your Dad from the reservation. You may not be as lucky as Tammy. Others have stated that they had to pay for whoever was listed when they checked in and could not change it.

This kind of what I am afraid of. I have tried to contact here but she isn't a dis fanatic like we are. So I will try and call her.
