Rented DVC points and room request question.

We have a split stay booked on points for February 12th to the 17th. This will be the 1st time staying onsite with my DW, DS(4) and DD(6) we have a studio at the BWV( pool and garden view) for the first two night and 3 nights at BRV. I guess my questions are what is the best way to book a room request in this scenario and where is the best spot to request a studio at these two resort. As a side note we are planning on afternoon breaks at the resorts. Any other tips or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The best way to request is to have the owner note the request with Member Services, if your owner will do that. The online options are useless and you cannot call in a request on a points booking.

It is best to contact the owner you rented from and have them contact member services with room requests. If you do online check-in, do NOT make any room requests on the check-in page, that will over-ride any requests with Member Services. As far as the best choices for your room location, I'll let other give their opinions, as I have not stayed at either resort.

The hallways at BWV are long, really long, if I were to stay there again my request would be near elevator/lobby, which will probably be one of your options w/ online check in.

I'm a standard view and like it real quiet, and like walking, so my request is as far away from lobby as possible- best view and quietest. Good job we are not all after the same rooms, both at Boardwalk and metaphorically speaking, in life generally
