Rentalof DVC points

I am not a DVC member but I have read lots of comments about renting points and I am not really sure if this is allowed or not and if it is then how can I find a renter?

Yes, we DVC Members can rent out a reservation (you can not actually rent points). For more info, read through the sticky threads on our Rent/Trade board and also these two threads:

Long term, for folks that travel to Disney routinely, purchasing is better. For the more occasional guest, renting is better. And while rental points are currently quire reasonable, I would expect the rental prices to climb as the economy improves, and more owners can once again use their own points.
