We have 3 adults and 2 kids (6 &7yrs), staying at POR (leaving next week). We're doing ME from the airport and have all the park options including the dining plan. Anyone have thoughts on renting a car vs. taking a cab? I know we can use the free bus service, but the idea of standing in line with 30,000 of our closest friends during Spring Break at the end of a really long day at the MK with two exhausted little princesses is slightly less than appealing.:rotfl2: We'd also like to go to Sea World one day but have been told to take a cab as we'd have to pay to park our rental car, etc. Anyone used cabs extensively during busy season? Thanks!princess:

Well, since there are only a little over 3,000 rooms at the Port Orleans properties, there'd have to be ten Guests in each of those rooms for the situation you envision :)

Since you don't want to wait in bus lines, your best bet would be to rent a car. There's a Taxi Fare Estimator in the Popular Transportation Links sticky, but you'd need the addresses of most of your departure and arrival locations.

You can get to SeaWorld for $1.25 per person each way by taking the Disney bus to the Magic Kingdom, then the monorail or ferry to the TTC, then the Lynx (public) bus to SeaWorld. www.golynx.com

It may be hard getting a cab for 5. You would need one of the mini-van types.
