I rented a Baby Jogger City Mini Single

for my DS 2 for a total of $58. Then, a friend of mine offered me her Peg Perego Pliko 3
http://www.pegperego.com/page.php?sid=3f2611f70f2c57c341cd25fe67c11995&pageid=UJVNL001&idf=04&idp=0000000253&cl=Nfor the trip.
So, do you think I should spend the $58 for the jogger or use the Peg Perego for free? Do you have firsthand knowledge of either of these strollers?

My main need is for a lightweight stroller than reclines for midday naps and has a snack tray/cup holder for the kiddo.

I loved our P3, it's especially convenient if you have 2 small children, 1 can ride and 1 can stand on the step.

That said, I would be leary to take a friends stroller (especially a expensive one) on a trip. If it was stolen or damaged, you would be responsible for replacing it.

Hmm. I don't see a snack tray on the BJCM, but I like that the basket is much more accessible than the P3 basket. I have a P3 and love it, but because it has an umbrella fold, the basket isn't a total cinch to get to. It does have a snack try though. So if a snack tray is really important to you, I'd take the P3. Plus, it's free. :)

I loved the Pliko 3 for our last trip. It was roomy enough for DS (almost 3) and held a lot of stuff. The snack tray was a must for me too!

The Pliko 3 did not fold up as small as I thought it would and was a bit bulky. But I am comparing to a great trip we had with the Peg Aria, that is very lightweight, but just wasn't sturdy enough for DS anymore.

Our P3 was our stroller of choice when my daughter was little. I loved the umbrella fold when it came to getting on the busses. Takes up much less room and is easier to manage. When my daughter was 2 I even went to Disney with her just the two of us and managed just fine with that stroller.

Have a great trip!

They both are good strollers for Disney. The P3 has the snack tray (have to buy to add on the BJCM) The P3 basket is bigger than the BJCM and pretty easy to access. The Baby jogger basket might be a tiny bit easier to access but it is small. The canopy on both are good. The BJCM is better but the P3 can go all the way to the tray so both are great in sunny Fla. P3 sits up straighter and is cushier than the BJCM which sorta slings the child so my son is always pulling up to sit straight. Both push easily. Have fun!!

We loved our Pliko and used it 3 times at WDW, including the last time when DD was 5 (she was very comfortable).

That said, I agree with jodim. It would be an expensive stroller to replace if it is damaged. I doubt that it would be stolen, but with the plane trip, damage is a possibility.

We have used both of these strollers at WDW. Our youngest DD has been to WDW every year since she was 3 months old and her first trips at 3 mos and again at 15 mos. were in a Peg P3. The P3 was great for as a smaller baby...great sunshade, not too bulky, and easy to hang our backpack on the handles.

We then sold the P3's (yes, she had more than one P3, Mac Quest, etc. LOL She is only 3 1/2 but we have owned (and still do) MANY strollers for her) and bought the Baby Jogger City Mini as our new Disney stroller.

The Mini was used by her at 2 yrs. and 3 yrs. and will be used again in May at 3 1/2 yrs. The fold is sooo easy and has a really great sunshade. It is nice and roomy too. Although we actually bought the child tray, we have never used it. Even the P3 tray wasn't used much as she doesn't tend to eat in the stroller.

I don't know how the P3 would work for now at her age and size (she is a lightweight but tallish) but the Mini is great for bigger kids. I just wish we had bought a different color as far as Disney is concerned. We bought ours when it was first released and chose Orange.

Of course, that is the main color of the different rentals now so the parks are filled with Orange Mini's. LOL Makes it harder to pick ours out from the crowd!

I would say either stroller would be great...each have their pro's and con's and some of the decision will depend on the age and size of your child and what features are most important to you.
