Rental or shuttle? Car seats?

I am new here...this has probably been asked so many times. Sorry! We are going to be at the world just before thanksgiving. We want to go to IoA for a day...harry potter of course. We are debating between renting a mini van or taking Mears. My concern is the 4 and 5 yr olds. Can you rent car seats?

Yes, you can rent car seats. Best to call the car rental company direct and ask how much it is per day. Depending on how long you will rent, it is sometimes cheaper to check in your own car seat as luggage. SWA allows 2 check bags per person for free, but most airlines charge $25 per bag each way. Still if the cost of the car seat rental is more then $50 and you have to pay to check in your car seat, it can be cheaper plus you know it will fit your child! Happy trip.

I don't know of any US airline which does not check car seats for free. They also do not count against your baggage allowance.

I'll check with Alamo and see what they have to offer. We will only be renting the car for one day...so not worth taking our own.
