Anyone know if all the rental companies have closed - either temporarily or permanently - closed their locations in Cape Canaveral?
We are booked on the first scheduled sailing for the Dream on Aug 9. We have a rental (Dollar) that we are currently scheduled to return to MCO. When we booked the rental months ago, it seemed like there was very little chance the cruise would happen, now the odds are much better (what the exact odds are, nobody knows). So we booked it to return to MCO on Aug 13, as we would just have stayed in the Orlando area if the cruise didn't happen. I should add we are picking it up at TPA on Aug 5, as we are first spending time visiting family. The plan was then to either get on the cruise (4 nights) Aug 9 or spend those same 4 nights in Orlando if the cruise was cancelled. Now if the cruise happens we will need to modify the reservation to return the car early, ideally in Cape Canaveral. But it seems all the locations may have shut down when cruising shut down.
