Rental Homes

I am considering going the rental home route for my next trip to WDW. At one point a few years ago, someone on the DIS had a rental home with pictures and such. Can anyone help me out here? If you have had any experiance in doing this, I'd love to hear from you too. I'd consider any good info. Please refer any e mails to fostrmom2mny@yahoo.com

I used www.vbro.com and www.fhvr.com . I have been very happy with both services. I never found anyone directly on dis to rent from. So I hope your able to find them.

There are quite a few UK DISers with homes in Kissimmee. I'm sure they'll be in touch.

We've rented directly from owners several times and we've always been thrilled. It's not for everyone, but we like to rent direct because you get to see the exact home you'll be staying in and its location. We like to stay in the area around Splendid China on US192 as they're the closest homes to WDW (5 minutes to AK from some of them!).

You can rent directly from owners at FRbVO - it's a great site with plenty of choice.

Gerri, we just used Pinnacle to rent a 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom poolhome for 159 a night. It was wonderful.There were 12 of us and the house was very roomy- 2 livingrooms and 2 dining areas. We have rented in the past from other places. The best thing with this was no extra fees. We just put down the first nights deposit and paid the rest at check-in. In the past the companies I have used charged a cleaning fee, a cleaning deposit and wanted it all paid up front. I found them when I sent enquiries for different homes on the vrbo site. I would not hesitate to use them again.
