Hi all,
Maybe I'm being a little too worried about this, but I can't help but being concerned about this,.
I sent an email to the owner of the home we're supposed to be renting because I had forgotten the exact amount I still owed her and the due date is coming up soon. I still haven't heard anything back from her, and it's going on four days now. I'm starting to get a little worried, because I really don't want to just send her a random amount that might not be right. And especially if she's incommunicado. Grand total will be almost 1000 dollars, which is no small chunk of change.
Any advice on what I should do? Maybe give it a few more days to get a reply from her? Resend the email in the chance that she didn't receive it. When I initially sent my deposit, I got no confirmation email from her that she received it. So I sent her a note, asking politely if she had, and I got an email back with a forwarded emails she had apparently sent me a few weeks prior, saying she had received it. So it might just be a technical glitch. But as a first time home renter, I have to admit, the whole thing is making me feel quite nervous.
