Rental Deal for March 2007

We have never rented a car. Need help finding codes/deals for 3/23 to 4/1. Need midsize vehicle. Need to pick up right at MCO. Can anyone help a frustrated mom?

The rates I've found for mid-March 2007 are the highest I've seen since 2001 when we starting taking WDW trips. Since your week is even closer to Easter, I wouldn't hold out much hope for getting a great rate. Check www.mousesavers.com for rental rates, and go ahead and make a reservation now, but continue to check in case rates go down. I found about $30/day total for a full-size.

For your dates Dollar was $255 for a midsize..(with no codes or anything from www.sidestep.com ).. What price were you looking for?

There is some on expedia.com. I was going to go in March but changed it until June.

I priced out Dollar and Alamo and it was going to cost about $500. Don't really want to pay that much. I know there has to be a better rate. Will check out Expedia. Thanks for the help.

As canwegosoon pointed out, Dollar is $255 for your dates. Did you get the $500 quote recently from the Dollar site?

We're looking for the beginning of April and found great prices on Alamo when using the BJ's code. It even included a free extra driver. Hopefully this will work for you,too!

We too are looking for a mini van from March 9 - 23. Are there any deals (codes) out yet for that time? I keep getting over $800 !!!!

March Codes are really not out yet. I would reserve something now...and then see if when the codes come out you can get a better rate.

Mini van-March 9-23 though Dollar or Thrifty is $698...which is high, but it is during Spring Break for College.

I have been pricing cars for this march as well. Even though we are not going until March 2008, just trying to get an idea. I thought the rates were pretty good. I found $255 for a Standard SUV through Budget. That was in Ohio though. We are going to drive down next time unless we find good cheap plane tickets again.
