Rental car?

Going next week and staying at BWV. We are taking the Magical Express from the airport but are not taking it back because we are going to see family. Has anyone rented a car while at BWV? Does anyone know if there is a rental car company in the area that will deliver it to BWV?

You can rent a car at the Swan. Alamo & National (think they are the same company). My daughter lives in Orlando we will rent a car for a day or two. Visit with them, pick up the grandkids, do a food shopping run on the way back. Very nice drop off, just give the car to the valet and you're done. Once they had a DVC member discount but I don't think they still do. I've signed up and use a code for a discount or upgrade.

We have rented from Alamo at the Dolphin a few times. It's really easy to pick up and drop off. The counter closes at 4PM, so you will need to pick-up by then. You can drop off any time of the day, as the Dolphin valet parking takes care of checking in the vehicle. You may save a little money by signing up for the Alamo Insider, which is free.

No problem. You just need to specify when you rent that you will drop off at the airport.
BTW, you might want to look online now for your rental. It is often cheaper to reserve ahead of time rather than just walk up to the counter. Check out Alamo's website for last minute deals.

One other discount option is through Costco Travel, if you are a member. To search for an Alamo location use the BWV zip code of 32830. Sometimes it prices a little better.

Yes, sometimes pre-pay is cheaper, sometimes not...depending upon any discounts codes or specials and time of year.

glad you have your answer and car but for others reading: the swolphin alamo/national has run out of cars, so - aside from the lower cost - it is highly advisable to book one in advance (we rent there no less than 2x a year, and have seen customers sent to the car care ctr, a larger alamo/national facility).

We got a car from Enterprise while staying at SSR. The location is in the "B" resort, which is one of the Good Neighbor hotels near Downtown Disney. They picked us up at the resort on the rental day, then dropped us back off after turn-in.

Look for the best rate, because most companies will send someone to get you.
