Rental Car With Ability To Transport ECV

We are a party of 6 and we would like to rent a car. However, a person in our party will need to use an ECV.

Is there something like a minivan I can rent with the ability to carry an ECV? Maybe an accessory that attaches to a hitch?

If a travel-sized mobility scooter will be adequate, it can be disassembled to fit in the trunk of a large car, minivan, or SUV. Downside is less battery life than a full-sized scooter, and a lower weight limit.

Other than that, I've never heard of a rental vehicle option for carrying a scooter, but suggest you post in the disABILITIES! forum.
