We just booked a cruise yesterday for February....last minute.....We have never done the rental car on each leg, but looking at prices it would be a lot less expensive to do this. We would be using National. I know they now have the bigger, closer location. Just wondering, does everyone have to go to the counter now, or do they have kiosk that you can use, like at the airport, to speed up the process. We need a rental for 2 days prior and 3 days after. We also have 3 one day free coupons, so we are looking at a free rental for the 2 days (taxes only) and using the 1 day for the 3 day rental, so would cost us $104 for the return. It's just the two of us, and we can get a full size (executive aisle members). How long does it take to just get the shuttle to the rental terminal. We would probably both take the shuttle since it's only 2 of us, but imagine the shuttle fills quickly. We would rent the entire time if the price gets better, but right now we are looking at a total of $115 for two separate rentals (2 days and 3 days). Still an excellent price. We are at WDW 2 nights prior to the cruise and 2.5 days after the cruise. We figured since the kids and grandkids are not going, it would be a good time to try this method out.
