Rental Car return at MCO?

Does anyone know where the rental car return is at MCO for Alamo and Avis? We are trying to coordinate a towncar pickup for transportation to Disney cruise and want to pick somewhere convenient.

Thanks you: :)

Where the rental car return is depends on which terminal you are at. I think the choices are A or B and that depends on which airline you are flying.

The rental car counters are on the same level as the luggage carosels and the rental cars themselves are out a pair of sliding glass doors, across a roadway, in a multi-level parking garage.

When I flew AirTran, the Avis rental cars were on the second floor of the garage. When I fly Delta they are on the ground floor of the parking garage.

I don't know if this was the info you are looking for but I hoped it helps.

The rental car counters in terminal A are one level below the luggage carousels. From the counter, the rental cars... (as above).

Both Alamo and Avis are on the second floor of the parking deck.

*gasp* Thanks Ed!! Your right I forgot... after so many trips this year you would think I would be able to describe it in my sleep.

At both Terminals you have to take the Elevator down to the rental car counters after you get the luggage. How can I forget the experience of cramming my family in the elevator. ;)

Sorry about the mis-information.

Thanks for your quick responses, but I really need to know where do you RETURN the car - in other words, where can I tell the towncar driver to pick my party up when we DROP OFF the rental cars after spending a week at Disneyworld, and need to get driven to Port Canaveral for cruise.

Thanks again.:D

Your best bet is to return the car to whichever side you picked it up from (A or B). Then walk across the street to the main terminal building and have the driver meet you on Level Two near the baggage claim area where they meet everyone else. They will have to park the town car before they meet you anyway as they are not allowed to park anywhere near that area when they are picking up a fare.

The return for Alamo/National is a little tricky. I've only returned cars on B side. When you enter the airport circle, get in one of the left lanes. It's right after the entrance to the garage, I mean right after, there is a sign for car rental return (it's easy to miss). Then just follow the signs to the return area in the garage. There really isn't anywhere for a towncar to pick you up there in the garage. I agree that I would head up to baggage claim and specify an airline for them to pick you up because that's where the drivers usually meet passengers.

Have you considered dropping the car off at WDW and having them pick you up there?
