I will be staying on and my husband will be heading back to the airport. He doesn't want to hassle with a shuttle and he needs to be at the airport the same time we need to be out of our condo and heading to our next accomodations. I'll be hanging onto our car until we leave.
My question is, has anyone ever rented a car in the Disney area (we'll be at Star Island) and driven and dropped it at the airport? If so, any info on that would be great. It might be worth it for us to rent a little economy as an addtional car for one day to do this. I'll have 6 people staying on and I don't really want to load them all up for the drive to MCO. Especially since we all want to get some park time that day.
Or, has anyone ever taxi'd to MCO from the Star Island area and how expensive was it?
