Rental Car Place @ Port?

Is there a rental car place very close to the port? BIL wants to rent a car near my house (W. Palm Beach area) and drop it off before the cruise so he doesn't have to pay for it while we're on the 7 day. Then he's going to want to rent another one to drive back here.

We used Budget and were happy- I know that a few people were upset because they were a bit late on pickup Sunday a.m. Avis was there on time and drove the Budget people to the location, which was a nice thing to do. Budget had better rates though.

I use Avis and have always been very happy! The one suggestion I always make is to drop off people or leave them at the port and just have the driver ride the shuttle without the luggage. It is not easy getting a ton of luggage off of those mini-busses and you will end up saving time, on this last trip I was in the rental and gone while others were still doing the luggage wrestling. If you join their club all you have to do is flash them a drivers license, the keys are in the car and you are gone!
