Rental car or town car?

My husband and I will be going to WDW in Sept for a week & will be staying at Pop Century. We would like to go to Daytona Beach for a day in the middle of the week. I was planning to use a town car for transportation to & from the airport & to rent a car at the WDW Car Care Center for the day to go to the beach. But, I have seen where a lot of you are getting great rental car rates, so now I am wondering if should just rent a car for the week. If we did rent a car for just the one day, would it be easier to get it at the Car Care Center or the Dolphin or one of the hotels at Downtown Disney?

For our family of four the cost of rental v compared to limo is about equal, so renting is the way we go. And if you added in any additional cab fees or rentals then you are way ahead with a rental. Sometimes we never use it but if the need arises it is right there.
