Hi All-

Here is a tough question. What if you leave a rental car at the port and you are not able to get back there because you have to port in another city far far away and you can't get back to it? WHat happens then? I am taking the Sept 12 as of now (rebooked from Sept. 5) and see that Ivan just turned into a hurricane this am! Any info would be great!

Call the agency you rented with and ask them their policy....

I think that would give the most correct information.

May I suggest using a one-way rental, and not leaving a car at the port? At $10 a day parking plus $20+ for the car, it's going to be hard to beat a one-way, even with a pretty big drop charge. And right now one-way rentals from MCO to the port are cheap. We just re-reserved ours for 25 September and the total including tax was only $22 for a day.

We'll be picking up a car on 11/7 and using it thru 11/11 for transportation between parks and resort. Then driving to port for the cruise. That gives me a whole new option to look into though.
