Rental Car HELP! Would anyone run the #'s for me?!

I think February 14 through 18 are blacked out at most car dealerships. Right now it is hard to find a minivan for under $92 per DAY! (Hotwire.com price)

Holy smokes! I just looked on the Thrifty website using the Orlando Magicard code (004M001010 in corporate code) and they have mini-vans from 2/14-18 for $47/day, $188/wk; premiums (Pacificas) for $40/day, $160/wk; and full-size for $37/day, $148/wk. (All base rates) You may want to check Thrifty out!

I just tried Thrifty using the corporate rate and here is what I got

Pick-up: ORLANDO AIRPORT, FL, USA
Date: Feb 14, 2007 08:30 PM
Drop-off: Same as pickup
Date: Feb 26, 2007 12:30 PM
Car Type Minivan

Car Type & Rate > Change
Car Class: Dodge Caravan or similar

Rate: $235.00/week

Total Base Rate (USD): $470.00

Options > Change

Book It
Rental Time Charge $470.00
Airport Access Fee (9.8%) $46.61
State Surcharge ($2.03 per day) $24.36
Sales Tax (6.5%) $35.53
Vehicle License Recoupment Fee ($0.47 per day) $5.64
Total Estimated Mandatory Charges (USD) $582.14
Estimated Grand Total (USD) $582.14

Right now I have Alamo for $602. For the $20 difference I think I will stay with Alamo and pick up at the airport.

I can't get the Dollar code KISS2 to work for my dates. I'm assuming those dates must be blacked out!?

Kayla
Be sure to enter KISS2 under promo code, not corporate #.
To do this click on the top tab labeled "SPECIALS"
It will then allow you to enter a promo code. :thumbsup2

Never mind, I tried to enter your dates and it's saying no vehicles available so it must have blackout dates. Sorry!

Was it Dollar that used to let you put in both rates and codes???

I have used the KISS2 and gotten a decent rate from Dollar - I thought you could also put in the AAA for an additional or rather another code from one of the other sources like Walmart, etc and get a better deal....

So????

That's Alamo & National that lets you put both in.
