Rental car from Disneyland to LAX

Hello from the Disneyland Hotel, I currently have a car booked at the Alamo in Downtown Disney but the prices are outrageous. Has anybody ever used the Avis on Katella? Will they pick you up or do you have to get their yourself? Any feedback quickly will be appreciated. Thanks.

Or anyone else. I'm also wondering about the Hertz desk at the Fairfield Anaheim Resort. Hertz website isn't much help telling you if you can use this desk to rent a car but have to go to Katella (many of the rental places share a lot/building), if they bring it to the hotel, etc. It would be nice to have it delivered to the hotel earlier than an hour after they open, then having to go back to the lot to drop off the delivery person, sign paperwork, etc.

We used the Hertz on W Katella to pick up a rental car twice now - didnt even think about enquiring to see if they could be dropped off - but even as Hertz gold members it was the slowest service we've ever had, both times. We love Hertz and generally find their service and prices really good but if you're wanting to save time I couldn't recommend the Anaheim one.

I also have a car booked with Alamo in Downtown Disney one way to LAX and the price is outrageous. I keep checking as my dates get closer to see if the price is going to drop, but unfortunately that has not happened. Alamo was the cheapest price I could get.

I cancelled my outrageously priced Alamo one for an Avis about a mile away. Significant savings in cost.

What's outrageous? We have a car booked at Alamo for one day...dropping off at LAX and it was $60. I thought that was pretty good since we are dropping off at a different location.
