Rental car drop off location close to GCH ?

We are planning to rent a car for a day from SNA ( John Wayne airport) to GCH so we could also stock up on milk, fruits, snacks for our 5 day stay. Are there any rental car agencies within walking distance of GCH so we could conviniently drop off the car ?

One way rentals are typically more.

I considered that plan also, but decided it would be easier for the 4 of us to take Super Shuttle using coupons (thanks Dizme!) for $28.
2 days later we will rent a car from the DTD Alamo for our Thursday excursion to Legoland. They have a drop box and you can leave the car in the lot, they close at 5pm and we'll be returning around 8pm.

We'll then take Super Shuttle back to the airport the following Monday for $28.

SuperShuttle- you can use discount codes to reserve ahead online for a better rate. I use UYR59 to get $3 off per person each way between SNA and the resort, so the $10 price is knocked down to $7 each way. There is one annoying thing about using that code, which is that the system no longer automatically gives you the discount for each person when you book for a party, so you have to book each one separately. That's actually pretty easy, as the information is all saved and you just have to go back and change the name, but it is still annoying to have to do it. There are other codes that give you $2 off each way so if you don't want to book separately, try those. You can find them at retailmenot.con
