Rental car drop off at resort?

Hi - I was wondering if anyone has any experience with having a rental car dropped off at their WDW resort? Or picked up there as well? I only need a car for a few hours and it seems pretty inconvenient to get to a rental car place mid-trip....

Its really not that bad to just rent a Alamo car onsite at Disney. there are two locations. One at the Dolphin hotel and one at the Car Care Center which is right by the enterance to the MK.

Alamo will come and pick you up and take you to either one of the rental offices. Then after your rental is over they will drop you off anywhere on Disney property.

It was very easy at Dolphin, too.we took bus to closest park, then dolphin bus to resort. You go to rental desk and then pick up car at front door. Return even easier, gave keys to people who valet. They checked in car, gave us receipt and we were on our way. We were going to mk, so hopped on bus.

Disney-operated resort hotels at WDW do not have rental car counters or rental car return.

The WDW Dolphin and several non-Disney-operated Downtown Disney area hotels have rental companies. Also, various hotels that are just off property have them. And there are dedicated rental car facilities, such as Hertz on Highway 192, not far from Disney's Animal Kingdom.

You can make reservations to return your rental car at one of these many places. Of course, where depends on which rental car company you want to use. Most, but not all, of these places will pick you up at, and drive you back to, your Disney resort.
