Rental car dilemna

Here's my dilemna:

We land at MCO at 8:10PM on Friday 12/9. Right now I can't seem to find a any decent rental car rates, at least from MCO.

Friday night, we'll probably be staying at Pop, so DME is an option from MCO. We also want to hit DTD if we have time.

On Saturday, we are transferring to BCV and at that point would like to have a rental car in our possession for flexibility and our return to MCO on 12/13.

What should I do? Bite the bullet and get the rental from MCO when we land? Or get up early and go to an WDW rental counter and get one then wiith a drop off at MCO? How would I get to the rental counter?

Rental codes/discounts would be great too.

I would keep watching the prices. I've gone the beginning of December the past 7 years and the rental car prices usually drop in the fall. I don't think I've ever paid over $120 for a week, EA, intermediate. Last year I think the price even went down more within the last week.

National has a counter at the Dolphin, if you want to wait until you get to BCV. Or they have a shuttle from the resorts to the car care center.

It's harder to get a good rate if your stay doesn't qualify for the weekly rate.

Still a good idea to book something for the best rate you can get right now and then to keep looking.

I got a rally good rate firsst week of Dec. last year. However, that was a weekly rate.

In your case, if you didn't end up getting a good rate by the time your trip rolls aorund, I would do hotwire or priceline for the car.
