How do I rent points from DVC members for four nights april 17th -21st? :

You need to make some initial decisions before you can make a rational choice about renting points.

A) Which resort are you interested in - Pick either Old Key West, Boardwalk, Wilderness, Beach Club, Saratoga Springs are in Fla.

B) When do you want to go - There is a preminum for staying Fri and Sat. The points are almost double per night than a Sun-Thurs. stay. High season, which includes most of the summer months is more than the lowest season (Jan, Sept and Dec 1-14). Permier season, ie chrismas and easter is sky high.

C)How big? - Studios are ok and they are relatively cheap, as low as 8 pts in OKW !!! and are comparable to a typical luxury room at a hotel. 1 br are very nice. comparable to a suite at a luxury hotel with a washer and dryer. 2br are simply a 1 Br plus a Studio put together with a door between them. However, you are charged 2-4 points LESS than the cost of a studio plus a 1 Br. If you can find relatives or another couple to split the cost, the 2 Br. gives you the best value, pointwise.

D) Once you have decided that, you have to think about price. Generally, points are going in the $10-$11 range, however it can vary from about $8-12 depending on a number of factors.
