Is anyone else excited about the movie Rent coming out this fall? I've never seen the play but have the soundtrack, and I'm addicted to La Vie Boheme and Seasons of love!

Oh thank god I'm not the only Rent-head on here! (I have a quote in my siggy people, come on! lol)
Even though I'm in love with the show, I sadly have never seen it. My parents won't take me. BUT I AM going to see it in NYC sometime this year, as my theatre arts teacher is taking current/alumi students on a trip.

And the movie? OMG. SO can't wait. Original OBC? ADAM PASCAL? YESSUM. hehe. November 23rd can't come fast enough!

I definately can't wait for this movie to come out.. it's been the first one in a long time that i've actually been really looking forward to seeing. I love Rent!!

I was just going to post something about this! Dear Lord, I adore Rent! Have you seen the Rent movie blog? It's in my siggy, check it out, you'll love it. I actually read the movie script yesterday, it's amazing, like I thought it would be. But it's only from 2004, so it's been revised. Anyway, glad there are other Rentheads on the boards!

I am SO excited about Rent coming out in the movies! I'm not a huge fan, but I've listened to a few songs and I know the basic story. I know that it's going to be GREAT! And I <3 <3 <3 Idina Menzel! So I'm really excited about seeing her perform! You know the date got pushed back to November 23rd except for like New York, Toronto, and some other place. Tinker, that's an adorable blog. SOmetimes I do fall asleep to Elakenamen! lol

I saw them on the Today show too! (Thank god for TiVo! lol I wasn't up that early, but my mom was, saw they were gonna perform, and tivoed it. hehe)
Pixie- I <333 Idina Menzel too! Did you see Wicked with her? I did, about 4 days before she left/got hurt. and it was amazing! hehe... i'm seeing it again next thursday, but sadly she won't be elphaba

Anywho, I hate how they changed the date. Me and my Rent-loving friends had plans to go see it on the first show available (since we don't have school on the 11th anyway) but now... URGH. two more weeks we have to wait now! not fair.

Wow, Disneygirl, you got to see her perform! I'm going to New York in June, and I'll definately see Wicked, but I really wish I could have seen it with her in it. She's just amazing, along with the rest of the original cast. Lucky!

It was an amazing experience to see Idina in Wicked. I saw her twice, once when I went backstage and met her, again during her very last performance. PixiePower, enjoy the show! Also, did everyone who saw the blog scroll down to Idina's video? It's really funny.

Glory sounds kinda bad ( -tear- its like my favorite song... but hopefully its just my computer or something...), but omg everything else is great! And 'Will I' *melts* I <333 Aaron Lohr even more than I already do!

I was freaking out when I heard the audio clips! I love them! Glory really didn't sound the best, but hey it's Rent, you gotta love it. And Rosario Dawson, wow. Good voice, but very different.

I can't wait for the RENT movie to come out! I saw it once on Broadway, but I wanna see it again. Seeing it on the big screen will be amazing, I think.

Eeeek! The soundtrack finally came out!! I just bought it on itunes. The songs are all different than the original, but I'm not saying that its a bad thing. I REALLY like the soundtrack version of la vie boheme and la vie boheme B.... Tango Maureen is pretty good too. Overall the songs are a little more rock and a little less broadway.

i'll prolly wait a bit until i can find it on limewire... i'm bad like that. hehe ((you didnt hear me say that. lol))

but yeah...less than two months till the movie comes out! and about a month and a half till I'm seeing it for the first time on Bway!! (nov 10th I so can't wait!)
