I know that most of this relates to cruising, but it also covers at least one day at the parks and I wasn't sure where else to put this.

We would like to fly in from phoenix to orlando and spend the night at the hyatt in the airport where we could pick up our ecvs - then the next morning take disney transport with ecvs to port canveral to go on the wish for a 4 day - then take disney transport back to the contemporary (where we would be sleeping) to spend the day at the mk, then next morning back onto disney transport back to port canveral to do a 7 day on the fantasy and then either debark and take disney transport to the airpot to spend one more night at the hyatt or back to the contemporary for a day in epcot before going home.

But we want to keep our ecvs with us for the whole trip, so picking them up at the hyatt the night we get in - and turning them back into the hyatt the morning we leave for home, and keeping them with us using disney transport all the way through.

Is this possible?

ETA: I forgot the harder part - we both need ecvs.

I think Walker Mobility rents ECVs for use at both WDW and on DCL. Most Orlando-area vendors do not rent for cruises.

Is walker a trusted source?
Will I be able to get both of us inot disney transport to port caneveral?

I haven’t heard a lot about Walker recently — good or bad — but they had been a popular vendor for many years. I have no reason to think otherwise.

The DCL transfers are coach buses - are either/both of you able to walk the steps or will you need a lift? If either of you needs the lift, make sure you inform DCL that you’ll need accessible transport (x2) for EACH leg of your transfers. Be sure they note it on each and not just once.

She can do stairs, but I can't... i can manage to walk a ramp, but i can't walk up stairs.
And thank you for letting me know i need to make sure it's noted for each leg - how do I do that?

I find Walker to be a trusted source. Years ago (at least 5), they were just OK, in my dealings with them. However, then one trip came, and someone talked me in to trying this brand new Gold Mobility and I switched to them. However I've noticed over the last two years that Walker's scooters have always looked great and new, and when I've talked to people using them, they've always spoken very positively. Seem very trustworthy.

My mom rented from Walker many, many years ago. I too use Gold Mobility but have chatted with people who have Walker ECVs and they are happy with them. An advantage of Walker is that they have scooters with higher weight limits. Gold Mobility goes up to 350-lbs and Walker has a scooter that goes up to 450 lbs.

This was just posted on another thread:
I definitely recommend renting a scooter from a 3rd party vendor such as Walker Mobility Scooter Rentals. I always use them. They have the longest battery life I've seen and have a water resistant scooter. They come with a basket, cellphone holder, 2 usb ports, headlight, horn and 2 cup holders. They throw in the damage insurance as well. They deliver right to your resort.

Gold Mobility should be able to help you with this, the only thing I am not 100% sure about is if they drop off and pickup at the airport hotel.
