Rent a house or villa?

I want to rent a home in orlando to spend 7 days, which site would you recommend?

We always use VRBO.com to rent in the Davenport or Clermont area. We need a 5b house and we have always been pleased with what we get. We have rented in the Legacy Park(gated) and Hampton Lakes (non-gated).

The pictures in the site are exactly what we find when we get there. The owners always answer any questions we have after reading their contract.

You can get better prices for Paradise Palms on Flipkey.com, Homeaway.com, vrbo.com, vacationrentals.com, and Trip Advisor. We have seen management companies asking over $250/night for PP when private owners on Homeaway were asking 125 or so.

To the OP, any of the sites I listed will have a ton of rentals. I like Homeaway and Trip Advisor because they let you sort by subdivision, if you have decided on one, or just sort by city or zip code. The closest to Disney are in Kissimmee zip code 34747.

We like the Formosa Gardens area which includes Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Indian Creek, Rolling Hills, Formosa Gardens Estates, Sunset Lakes, Oak Island etc. Very close to Disney and lots of restaurants within 5 min. I usually use the word pool home because some people use villa to refer to either a pool home, a condo or a townhouse.

I saw some crazy prices too when I was looking for rentals in December. But I did not pay anything near that much.
