I am renting points at BCV. How much is it to rent a cot daily? Would it be easier to bring an aerobed?

There are no cots for rent in any DVC. You will need to bring your aerobed and whatever bedding you need for it.

I don't know if they are available at BCV...but at VWL we called down to the desk and they said they actually had several aerobeds available for guests. So we've not dragged one along with us. You might want to call BCV and ask...:thumbsup2

Joeydog - are you referring to a baby's bed or an adult bed? I believe British English uses the word cot and American English would use the word crib for a baby or toddler's bed. It sometimes causes some confusion.

There are companies that rent cribs. Perhaps others have that info.

Cots for adults (or roll away beds) are not available at the resorts.

thanks for the info. i just called and they have aerobeds available at the beach club also.

DVC won't provide additional bedding. Maybe the BC will, but not the villas.

I don't know about regular resort guests..but not for DVC rooms..And it was sooo convenient! I have 2 teens and when we stay in a 1BR at VWL it gives everyone their own bed. Oh..and they did bring extra bedding as well..

Twin size, I assume? Do you request an aerobed at the time you make your reservation or when you check in?

Yes..I think they only have the twin. The time we used it, I just called down and asked if they had one available when we got into the room and they brought it up, blew up, and even put the sheets on!

Wow -- learn something new everyday! I had no idea some of the DVC resorts had aerobeds available to guests. And to be honest...I'm absolutely shocked that they would be available at no extra charge. Makes me appreciate my membership even more! :goodvibes

I just wonder if you could add an areobed into a studio>??
its only 4 of us but my dd and ds won't sleep in the same bed
together boy this would be great:worship:

awesome. good to know! thanks for posting about the dvc's.

Wow - I guess maybe DVC will provide additional beds and bedding. That's good to know. I would imagine that it would be for times when you remain in the stated occupancy levels but don't have enough beds for people of different genders. Cool
