Renovated Rooms

At the BC people say that renovations start at the end of this month. Are the pictures of the guest rooms on Disney.com newly renovated? Also, to get the seaside room, the one that is yellow ( not blue and pink ) do you need to put in a request for that room if you would like to stay in the seaside room? We are going at the end of this month, and would like to try to get the seaside room or a newly/ just renovated room.

The yellow rooms are the ones that were rennovated a few years ago...are they being done again- I have been staying there since '04 and did not know when that rehab was finished? I am staying in NOV - I was not aware of this.
