Renewing your vows on board??

Have any of you renewed your vows on the ship?

Someone was posting about it a while back and if I recall it was quite expensive. I had thought about it but for what it cost DH can by me a nice peice of jewelry instead

And.....sound just like me! If it is that much, I would much rather have a nice LV handbag instead!!! (I am allergic to most jewelry so purses make up for it)

I just thought that it sounded so romantic, being at sea and all. We will have to try Palo this time, last time we didn't make it.

BTW....what night are you celebrating your birthday on board???

Doing my birthday the first night. It actually falls the night before (born 12/12 at 12:00 hows that for a coincidence?) but I figure it doesn't matter, I am not turning 40 for real either (42 this year GASP )
You will LOVE Palo, we didn't get around to it until last year and I can't believe what I had missed the first two cruises, it is such a special place!

This could be arranged through Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings department, and yes it is quite pricey, but sometimes you cannot put a price tag on valuable memories!

I think for the same cost of renewing your vows on DCL alone, you could fly to Vegas for 2-3 days, stay in anice hotel,and renew vows there...

I couldnt believe how much DCL is asking for this

We actually renewed our vows here in Las Vegas for our 10th anniversary, but it was pretty far from romantic. It ended up resembling a 3 ring circus because the Travel Channel taped it for their show "Two for Vegas". My husband was such a good sport about the whole thing, I promised to make the next time extra special, and VERY low key. But I agree about Disney's being a little bit too pricey for us. I just checked online and it runs about 1000.00. I think some fun excursions and a night at Palo will have to do the trick!
