For our 10th anniversary, in 1996, my wife contacted the Disney wedding planners. It was just the two of us, plus a minister and a girl who played the flute. No invited guests or anything. Disney offers a package for an "intimate wedding," and I believe that's what we got.
Our wedding planner coordinated the whole shebang, which took place outdoors, at the Yacht Club gazebo, on a glorious May afternoon. She also arranged for us to have a little wedding cake, a champagne toast and, as a surprise, gave us a ceramic "Mickey & Minnie" cake topper as a little gift. It was delightful, and relatively simple.
But, as I recall, it wasn't cheap -- upwards of $1,500, in 1996 dollars.
Would we do it again? In a heartbeat. We have some wonderful memories of a special day. Also, not insignificantly, it was our first visit to Disney World -- and the beginning of our love affair with all things Disney
