Not sure if this is where I should post this but it seemed like the right spot. My husband and I will be married 35 years in November and have a DW trip planned. I wondered if anybody has renewed their vows at DW and how they went about planning it. It will probably be just the two of us but since we love DW and are DVC members it seemed like a good place for us. I would love to hear from any of you have done this or are planning on renewing your vows.

I can't offer any advice on renewing your vows at Disney, but I just wanted to wish you all the love and happiness in the world. Congratulations and best wishes to you !!!

Congratulations! DH & I are 28yrs this November. We also will be in the world & are dvc members!!! We were looking into vr for our 25th, but it didn't work out. So we are planning something for our 30th. There a great group of people on this board under the wedding board. There are many there who are planning or have already had vow renewals. Everything from just the "bride and groom" to extravagant vow renewals.
Good Luck & again...congratulations.

I did renew my vows at Disney 5 years ago for my 20th. I used gifts of a lifetime and Jane was great. I surprised my wife, who was taken away to go on a treasure hunt, and at the end of the hunt she ended up in the rose garden with me. Jane provided everything and even brought a dozen roses and she said the vows I wrote, while her co-worker would throw pixie dust on us. They even took pictues for us during all the festivities. My wife still talks about it. We are going back in a few months for our 25th and we will be remembering all the fun we had then.

The best place to get information about this here is the Disney Weddings and Honeymoons Board-- they do Vow Renewals too! http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=55

You can ask questions there and get answers from those that are experienced and there are tons of reports over there to read about others celebrations.

Keep in mind that as far as I know the only way you can have a ceremony like this at WDW is to go through their Fairytale Weddings department. Unless you just want to stand in a romantic spot, just the two of you, and repeat your vows privately. If you want a photographer, officiant, cake etc you will need to arrange it with them.
