Renewing DVC AP

How does DVC AP renewal work w/MDE? When I renew, does my existing pass that is already linked just have the expiration extended to next year, or will we get a new set of vouchers like w/a new ticket?

If we get vouchers, how do I get numbers to enter on MDE?

I just did this in May. Had to call DVC and renew. Got a number/code to enter into MDE because I had to make FP+reservations for trip with family in july(next) week. It renews from expiration date for me May 23 and I think is on band but I have to go and get physical card for discounts etc but not sure yet if it is active to enter parks? Tell you next week but could make FP+ selections in May after I connected it.

We did this too and last time we had to go to will call still and pick up the new annual passes, and get them linked to magic band (i had linked them on MDE with the will call # so I could still book FastPass+). I just assumed my AP was already on my magic band, and didn't go and pick it up. That was a mistake! I couldn't get into the park and had to be rerouted to guest services

We also just renewed in May. I had no problems entering the number member services gave me in MDE in order to do FP+, the issues we had were at AK Will Call when the cm tried to add our renewed passes to the magic bands. After 45 minutes she gave up, and told us we had to take the passes inside the park to Guest Services. Luckily the cm there was able to get it sorted out in 5 minutes. We missed a FP while the first cm was having problems, but the second one was able to fix that too.

Guest Relations at DTD can issues Annual Passes and TiW cards. There are 2 GS locations at DTD, one is next to the new Marketplace Co-Op store (formerly Team Mickey) and one at Disney Quest on the West Side.

Yes, that's exactly the way it worked for us.
