Renewing APs online?

I thought I had heard somewhere that if you renew your AP online, you get a discount or a Disney gift card, but I didn't see anything on the website.

Also, my pass doesn't expire until the middle of September, if I decided to renew it next month (for DD's birthday gift), would my new pass expire in August 2008 or September 2008?

You should get a discount on the renewal (something like $10 for the Deluxe pass, $20 for the Premium) when you renew on-line. They will also send you a coupon for 20% off any purchase of $50 or more. Your new pass will expire a year from when the old one does, even if you renew a month early.

You can renew 30 days in advance. You can not renew more than 30 days on line I tried it..
I did upgrade and purchase premium passes and I got to renew them 45 days early. So I have an extra 45 days on the pass.

They gave me a $20 gift card when I got the picture done.

Sometimes they will send you a renewal slip in the mail that you can mail them in and get the $20 off there.. Instead of a gift card..

Hi - Mine are up for renewal in August. Just a few days ago, I got an email about renewal and then today something came in the mail.

For the So Cal cards, you get a $10 Disney Gift Card for renewing (says this $10 back is just through the end of sept).

For Deluxe and Premium passes, you get $20 off.

If you renew online, you can get a "special design" card and they send you a coupon for 20% off a purchase at selected Disney merchandise locations.
