Please help someone I don't know what to do........

We are planning to go for a weekend in December to see santa:santa:
My DDs both have fantasy AP which are valid until next year. My Dream AP runs out on the 8th Oct and OH will need one.

There are a few options:

1 - Stay onsite and don't worry about AP - this would depend on the next offer to come out as we are getting really good rates for the dreamcastle but would mean we would get extra magic hours

2 - Renew my AP by post now as a fantasy and get the 18 months for 12 (I got a letter through last week) This would mean I would still have an AP over next christmas as well.

3 - Renew my AP as fantasy and get one for OH when we get there using shareholders discount - my pass would then run out before next christmas but would be valid for halloween (which I'm missing this year:sad1:)

So AP would be cheaper if I wait and get shareholder discount but would run longer if I do by post with offer.

I don't know what to do and I'm getting more and more confused the more I think about it. Has anybody renewed by post? How easy was it cause the forms are all in french lol

If you do decide to renew by post, I think you can call to do it, and pay via card over the phone, then the rest of it is done by post (I've only ever renewed in person though, so don't know the ins and outs of doing it that way).

I'd be leaning towards doing it in person in December and using shareholders discount for fantasy passes - if you do it by post to get 18 months, you're losing a month or so before you start, as you only have until 30 days after your current one expires, and you're not going to use it until December. As long as you plan for another Christmas visit next year which is over before your new AP expires, that means you'll get this years visit, next Halloween and next Christmas out of your APs.

Have you checked Expedia for room only rates in December for the onsite hotels? That way you get to use your APs, and get EMH too. For the past 3 years Expedia have had rates of around £50 per room per night for the Santa Fe and Cheyene - if you're flexible with your dates at all this might be a good option for you :).

Yes i can vouch for this. I got the Santa Fe last December (17th-18th one night) for £56.

I wonder if i will get the extra 6 months added? my AP runs out in December and i will be renewing at the beginning of January.
I never get anything in the post from them or via email, does anyone else not get anything? :confused3

When our APS were valid (they didn't run concurrently) we never received anything. Since the last ones expired, which is now over two years ago, I've not only had snail mail but emails :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I tried to renew by post once, but didn't have any success. I sent off my application with a cheque (a euro cheque), but had everything returned after about a month. They couldn't accept the cheque, so you have to renew by card. As I was going again within a few weeks, I then renewed in person & they honoured the extra 6 mths even though my AP had by then expired.
