Renewal of DVC Passholder?

Besides the DVC discount for the annual pass, is there an additional discount to renew an existing DVC Pass rather than letting it expire and getting another later on?

A DVC new AP is $356, a DVC renewal AP is $324, so you save $32. But, the renewal AP is effective the date the original expired. So you have to weigh if it's worth saving $32 or get a new one effective on your next visit.
