Well..................
today is january 11th............it officially starts my new year! I say this because, I just got back form WDW last night and finished that darn 1/2 marathon in 3:01:30.
Today I am beginning a new year and need to get back on track. I lost a total of about 63 pounds but gained back about 10-13....... I noticed this when I got to WDW and pack my summer clothess that just did not fit like they did last summer. After meeting my WISH buddies and going through it all........ I decided that my focus has been too much on the marathona nd not enough on my eating habits, I think I became very comfortable losing that weight and began to think that the work was over!
not!!!!!!!
so like I did last year on january first I am going to begin to journal all my food so that I may see where things go wrong as well as when and where my weakness' are. Reporting I think may also help me not to mess up.......
Like last year another goal I would like to to quit smoking.
I went through a strange moment this past week.
I woke up for the marathon and began to worry ( yes actually worry) that I ewill not be able to smoke for a few hours. OUCH! I hate to be pressure that way and have anything in my life restrict me! As I left my hotel room, I had a ciagrette lit and saw some other marathoners walk my way behind and in front of me. I was so embarassed. I mean I normally dont care what other think but in this case, I guess that was a good feeling. I quickly put it out.
I had another cigarette and lighter in my fanny pack for once the race was over! Unbelievable huh! when I was done I didnt even want to smoke or actually I should say I did but how would that look! Turns out I realized on the trip home yesterday, that I only smoked one pack in two days! What I mean is I usually smoke about a pack a day!
I bought a pack at WDW satuirday evening and just finished it last night. Well with the marathon and the drove home which I cant smoke in the car. I managed........
unfortuanetly this morning I opened a new pack and have already smoked about half of it........ thanks to those darn good carolina prices, I bought a carton on the way home.
anyWHO......... smoking has got to go this year.........
I am going to try and wean myself to ten a day once I am comfortable with that, I will try something more drastic........
so far its 1:30 I have not eaten becuase I am too busy unpacking and getting back to reality!
I will post this evenign and try my very hardest to post every evening!
