Renaissance Resort Seaworld
6677 Sea Harbor Drive
Orlando, FL 32821

Showing for $83 per night taxes included for out April trip. Marriotts web-site lists it as $249 per nite, and I currently have a Entertainment rate there for $125 per nite. Are these inferior rooms? Or is it just a great deal?

Sounds like a great deal. It's a really nice property. They offer champagne at check-in. You can walk across the street to SeaWorld.

This may or may not be relevant... But I have atayed at this property, Granted it was a long time ago 12 years? When it was Stouffers. It was a wonderful property, The rooms were huge very upscale quality... We had reserved 2 rooms on the 1-800 for Holiday Inn. We were traveling with our BIL 175 Mastiff, got in late and the dog was supposed to go to The FT wilderness kennel the next day.. Us to the Poly. Anyway BIL was going to sleep in the car with the dog. :p We arrived at Destination and they were overbooked, They sent us to Stouffers and comped our stay. And we were shocked to find ROCKO was very welcome upstairs with us. It was well run and great. I am also booked there in August for several nights and am hoping I am just as pleased this time As I was last.

:sunny: We were just at the Renaissance from December 31st thru January 3rd. The rooms were nice for hotel rooms .. much larger. We bought some food and had cereal in the am and either sandwiches for lunch or dinner & ate the other meal out. We did have a small fridge that I reserved w/our ressies. They told me it would cost an extra $10/nite, but it was needed for a med I take. They found out that I had the fridge for my medicine and gave it to us for free. Very classy. The pool was very large and nice. We did not eat there, but caught the I-trolley out in front which took us down where there are sooo many resturants to even begin to list. We also went to the Premier Outlet Mall on the trolley. I would say the only thing that lacked (okay, besides being a condo of course) is a complimentary buffet breakfast like the Embassy Suites offers. Love that free food in the am to get you going. Sea World is just right there and my girls ages 12, 10 and 7 loved feeding and petting the dolphins.

Unfortunately we have not stayed at any of the Marriotts in the area to give you a comparison.

Good luck :sunny:
