Does anyone know of a place online where I can get a renaissance album made? I really don't want to have an album where I'm going to put pictures in between a piece of plastic.

I ordered my album from the site Caryn posted. I just finished it last week. It is great! I will post pics later if you'd like. It was pricey, but well worth it. Altogether, I spent close to $300 making my album. Fair warning, it's a frustrating, daunting task-- but the payoff is worth it! My album has been making the rounds at work all week and everyone is impressed with it. Oh, and I put about 90 pics in my album all of various sizes (from 3.5"x5" to 10" x 10").

I'm planning on making albums for our parents now that this one turned out so well!

How is this renaissance album made? Do you place printed pictures on the mattes? I love crafty DIY projects and am always looking for new and different things to try!!

Yep, that's exactly how it works. Once I figured out which pictures to include, it was really fun. I enjoy making layouts so it was right up my alley. Putting it all togther is a breeze! I'm looking forward to making albums for our parents this summer.

Thanks so much for posting this information. We are not sure what type of book we want yet. I have a question to those that have done books - where did you print the pictures of from - did you use your proofs. I generally print my regular photos out at CVS at their Kodak kisok but I want to make sure these print out really special.

Thanks,
Linda

I would suggest you print your photos at www.mpix.com. It's professional quality printing (unlike Snapfish, Shutterfly, the drugstore, etc.) and the prices are great!

I printed all of my pics for my album on mPix. I uploaded the pictures I wanted to use from my CD from Randy directly to the site. There is a crop tool that will allow you to cut out things you don't want in the picture. Their prices are a tad bit higher than Shutterfly or Snapfish, but the quality is much higher.
