I accidentally deleted the promotion photo of remy at chefs de france. I was able to add a reservation here to our upcoming trip and I wanted to show the picture to our son - he has been wanting to go to the restaurant and see Remy forever now - does anyone have a copy that they could post? THANKS.

Don't have a photo or link, but I'm sure not aware of any characters appearing at Chefs, unless you count the servers, who can be pretty entertaining in their own right. ;)

this is something new that is a little different from the traditional fur character, there is a roving "chef" pushing a cart with a covered tray = he can lift the tray and there is remy - he happens to be about the size of a puppet, if that helps you think about it. I got a photo in an email but I deleted it and wanted to show it to my son. I found a video clip on youtube so we looked at that. He is pretty excited.

I have not seen this either, but I am bumping because I would love to see it. We are planning to eat there for our trip in August because I have read some really good reviews-this would be just an added reason to go!! I loved that movie.

I can't find a picture online or video either. Please post the link OP. I believe I did see something about this in a DVC magazine though.

when do they do this? Is it just at lunch? Or did it just start very recently?

We were there for dinner in January 2009, and didn't see anything like that...loved the food, but there was no chef/Remy going on:confused3

Meanwhile, over at Epcot’s Les Chefs de France … Well, Disney knows better than to mess with the nouvelle cuisine that this restaurant’s three internationally acclaimed chefs -- Paul Bocuse, Roger Verge, and Gaston LeNotre – serve up. But that said, Les Chefs de France is still one of the most expensive restaurants found in that theme park. And given that Guests are really watching their money these days, Disney World officials felt that they had to come up with a strong new draw for this France pavilion restaurant.

Which is why – this past Monday -- Remy from “Ratatouille” began making appearances at Les Chefs de France. And – no – I’m not talking about some sweaty teenager in a walk-around Remy costume. I’m talking about the latest application of Disney’s Living Character Initiative program. Which first started entertaining diners at Walt Disney Studios’ Rendez-Vous des Stars restaurant last summer.

Be warned, though. This itty-bitty animatronic Remy is scheduled to make his last appearance at Epcot on September 10th. So if you want to be entertained by Little Chef while you’re dining at Les Chef de France, you’d best make some reservations ASAP.

Found the video from DL:

I'm so happy they added this!! I've been dying to try Chefs de France but always lean towards restaurants that have some "entertainment" for my kids. Now we can dine here in June!!! :)

I couldn't find the video on youtube either. Will the OP please post a link or tell us the words you used to search. We'll be there next week but Chefs de France isn't on our itinerary.:sad1:

I heard this used to be at DL paris, so maybe if you search for that? I know I've seen a video of it somewhere but I can't find it right now.

That's so cool! :lmao:

Awww I can't wait to see Remy when I eat at Chefs de France in May.

awesome--this really looks fun: I found some of the news stories about this. We'll be there in May, on the lookout!

:yay: That is so cute. I am definitely eating there in August. I have no idea is DS (10) will like it or not but I am loving it!!:dance3:

Everything we've seen on line - video wise is from Disneyland Paris, not here in the states.

Has anyone reading this actually seen this in any Disney restaurant in California or Florida???

There's an excellent picture of what you are looking for in the recent DVC quarterly. I'm away from home and don't have my copy here with me, so maybe one of the other DVC members can help you out!

We did last week.:goodvibes We had lunch at Chefs on Thursday.

It was so hilarious. The lady who brought him around was very talented....very funny and great at "working" with the diners.

Jim Hill is reporting that Le Chefs de France in Epcot is testing out this Living Character Initiative thing they had at DLP.

Frankly, I don't believe anything he posts until it happens. He's got a track record for reporting things that don't happen.

We saw Remy at Chefs last week. So cute and the lady was hysterical.

Do you have any photos? I'd love to see Remy! Did the cart stop at most tables? If we do eat at Chef's, I'm hoping to see Remy. :goodvibes
