so I know I asked for Remy reviews a little while ago, but now something I read somewhere has me a bit worried about dress code.

I read a post (not here) from a man who said his wife was declined for wearing dressy sandals and they gave her a pair of heels she had to put on!!!

I don't really wear heels and my dining partner can't wear them at all. Since it's only 3 nights the plan was to bring one pair of nice sandals for dinner every night.

Has anybody had an issues with their shoes? I get no flip flops as stated in the dress code but to me that is very different than no sandals. Do we need to bring other shoes? Are flats ok? I've seriously never considered anything like this.

I'm kind of shocked by this story. I've never heard of anything like this lol.

Flats are definitely okay. The thing about sandals is they need to have a strap. If it doesn't connect around the ankle then they'll probably say no it is a flip flop no matter how nice.

I usually pack a pair of flats and will wear those if it is a rather rocky night and don't feel comfortable in heels.

That's a great idea...flats. I always bring heels for Palo and it never fails, every time we have rocky seas and I'm stumbling all over the place. We are doing Remy in a few weeks. I keep going back and forth on my outfit since it is "more fancy" than Palo.
