Removing Tickets from Magic Bands

I'm also in the same situation. I worry they will mess up the priority. My DH has 4 days left on his NE pass that is on our MDE. We have new 5 days passes we want to use NOT the NE days. So we can create a phantom person and link the new 5 day pass to phantom. My DH could still use his MB for room key and fast pass, but use phantom's hard card tix for entry. Is that right, will that work?
Yes, that will work. You can also make fastpasses for the phantom's ticket.
 
I did this at the concierge at the resort when we checked in (at the BWI) once.

Plan on doing it also at Pop next month - we have AP's still but bought tickets for free dining as well. We'll request the ticket card again, and save those for next spring break.
 
I'd also like to use a "fake person" to assign an unused ticket. Is it difficult to transfer that ticket back to someone else when we're ready to use it? I'm hoping that this is easy to do from within MDE, so that I don't have to call or visit a ticket booth. Thanks to anyone who can help!
 

I would suggest that if you ever have multiple tickets in MDE to make sure you go to guest services and have the tickets prioritized (unless you create a phantom to assign the ticket to). DO NOT JUST DEACTIVATE THE TICKET OR USE THE PLASTIC MEDIA FOR THE SPECIFIC TICKET YOU ARE WANTING TO USE TO ENTER THE PARK!!!!!! I did both of these things thinking I was doing the correct thing and ohhh it was bad. I ended up using 2 of my non expiring days as opposed to the 2 day park hopper I intended on using. I personally have not used the phantom but learned the hard way to make sure my non expiring tickets are protected and the correct ticket is prioritized. Having to fix this problem after vacation is over and you realize the wrong ticket was used can make for a stressful ending to a wonderful trip. Transferring the tickets within MDE is actually really easy. Once a ticket has been entered and assigned to a person the type of ticket will be listed on the left and on the right it will say who it is assigned to. Underneath the name it says reassign ticket. Create your phantom person and reassign it to them. When you want it back to you simply reassign it back to you. If you don't want to play around with your tickets in MDE just take the 5-10 minutes it may take to prioritize your tickets at guest services.
 
Thanks for the reminder! I will double check to make sure we're using our AP's on our magic bands next trip, and not the 2 day PH tickets we bought for our package (which we're saving for next spring break).
