Removing someone from a ticket?

I’m planning on going to Epcot next Sunday, 3/28. I already have tickets and theme park resv. Originally, it was going to be my DD16 and I. Then my sister and her fiancé decided they would like to join us as we have overlapping trips and are all going to be staying off site at the same resort. I purchased their tickets and got their resv under my MDE account. Now her fiancé is thinking he is not going to join us bc the weather looks super hot (we’re from Maine and he’s not a fan of heat over 80 degrees). I have an ADR at Trattoria al Forno the night before. So, a few questions:

1. Would it be possible for me to visit the guest relations window at IG on Saturday evening to get it sorted out?​

2. I’m guessing if they can “refund” me it will be in the form of a ticket credit on my account?​

3. Can anyone confirm this or am I way off base?​

Does your sister's fiancé have his own MDE account? If so, that ticket is basically his and no longer yours. He can transfer (reassign) it to you and the ticket becomes yours again.

If he doesn't have his own MDE account and you have his profile which you control as a friend/family member on your MDE, you can reassign the ticket to yourself, change the ticket to a future date, or just wait for it to expire and use its purchase price toward the purchase of a new ticket.

AFAIK, Disney does not offer refunds (there are some extraordinary circumstances, but "it's too hot doesn't qualify). Some online ticket sellers will do partial refunds under strict terms.

You should be able to do it on either app or website. Both are wonky at times but I've reassigned a ticket multiple times without issue. You should also be able to change the dates on a ticket (paying the difference in price if necessary) as long as the first day of use has not passed.
