I tried to take some pictures of my daughter in her Easter dress this weekend, and she insisted on having her favorite toy tag along. Well, he was included on one of my favorite shots! I guess its sorta cute since she LOVES Wubbzy, but I'd like a version w/out him too! My new computer has PhotoShop, but I have no idea how to even begin cropping him out of the picture. Are there places that will do it for you for a fee? Is it even possible to crop him out?

Any advice would be great! Thanks! :goodvibes

I did a quick removal using Photoshop Elements 6.0. It's just a quick job, and since the file was so small, not the greatest, but you can have it it you want.

ETA: I will be happy to do a better job, if you send me the image at full resolution! :)

I agree with Mark. I like the little toy there. In a few years, you'll be wishing she still towed that little toy around with her. :D

I like Wubbzy. It's none of my business, but I'd leave him.

LOL, thanks guys! I sorta like him, too...and it really does capture my DD and her personality and what she's 'into' at the moment. She adores Wubbzy, and she's never really been the type to get attached to one toy, but he's been a "must have" for over a month now! I think I'd just like to have a with and without version.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

My advice, buy an extra "Wubbzy". Keep it in a closet or something. Someday she will lose "Wubbzy" and you will have a new one for her. For now, I would take it out of the picture, and of course, keep the original to tease her with when she is 16. :lmao:

OMG, you are so right! I remember my little brother had a certain bear he couldn't part with...they'd get lost, we'd buy a new one, and then it would turn up and he ended up having 4 and he had to have ALL 4 at all times! :rotfl:

Unfortunately, those Wubbzys are so hard to find! Grandma had to buy that one on eBay for $35! I think we'll hope she keeps up (or outgrows!) this one!

I guess that would be a problem, huh? We were lucky, our DD lost all of those types of toys for good. They never turned up so we always only had one at a time. Then they sell out of stores..... :sad1:

So I wanted to post DH's end result on this and see what everyone thought. He says he's by no means an expert at this, so we wanted to have other sets of eyes look at it and see if he missed anything. What does everyone think? Do you think he should have put more gray in the center of the grass?

I think it looks perfect! Thanks so much for doing this for me! :goodvibes

It's fun to use the cloning tool to get rid of extraneous things in a photo but sometimes (especially with portraits), just cropping it tighter produces what you are looking for:
