Removing eyelets

Has any one tried this? Did it ruin your page?
I have a part which pulls up so you can read under it. I want to take this part off and laminate it so that I can cut a hole in the page protecter and put it on the outside. That way people will be able to use it. Any ways I put it togather with an eyelet.

If you do it carefully you shouldn't have a problem- I would try to murder the eyelet and destroy it to remove rather than trying to pull it out-

I assume you would re-eyelet it after? -em
