Removing an iron-on transfer??

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct section or not.....

With all of the iron-on transfer expertise here, I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have a t-shirt that I tried to do an iron-on transfer on but it didn't work well and only part of the design made it on to the t-shirt. Is there a way to remove the part of the design that did stick on to the t-shirt? I know I probably can't do another iron-on on the shirt but I'd like to be able to remove the part that did work so that we can still wear the t-shirt (without half of a design on it )

Try ironing a different transfer over it.
